For the third time Naomi Gilon and François Patoue are working on a duo project.
The two artists used to work together for art school, were included together in group shows,
residencies, and developed a relation where the boundaries
Of work and friendship doesn’t exist.
As the time goes their works grow on their sides,
but there is a unique relation between the two practices.
They’re not from the same background
Or semantic, neither the same form or concept, but the epiphany created by the combination of those two entities creates a balance
and a harmony where every aspect of the artworks seems to be evident and accurate.
NG and FP worked together on this concept exhibition as two musicians work on concept albums.
They extracted, details, shapes, atmospheres and references to create and build their own version of the beauty and the beast.
